Summer Learning Conference

Friday, April 5, 2019 | 9:00 am - 3:00 pm | African American Art and Culture Complex, 762 Fulton Street, SF, CA 94102

Summer is coming! Come join us for a day of training to help you get ready for summer programming. Each workshop will offer strategies to infuse summer program activities with academic rigor, a social justice framework, and a growth/healing mindset.

Start the morning off right with breakfast, coffee, and an opening keynote with Dr. Carole McKindley-Alvarez. Stay for morning workshop sessions on Gardening, Writing, Art, Yoga, and Trauma Recovery. Then kindly join us for lunch and interactive Inspiration Stations.

Finish your day (at 1:30 or 3:00) and go back to your program feeling inspired, rejuvenated, and better prepared for your work in summer youth programs.
