Oversight & Advisory Committee Approves Services Allocation Plan

On May 15 the Children and Youth Fund Oversight & Advisory Committee (OAC) voted to approve DCYF's Draft Services Allocation Plan (SAP). The SAP establishes DCYF's strategic funding priorities and proposed funding allocation for services based on needs identified by DCYF's Community Needs Assessment (CNA), which was completed in August 2016.

DCYF Grantees: Opportunity Fund Applications Now Open!

The DCYF Opportunity Fund addresses unexpected, unbudgeted needs that arise during the course of a normal funding cycle. The Opportunity Fund is only open to DCYF grantees, and funds may only be used for one-time projects. Visit the link below for more information, including a description of projects that have received grants via the Opportunity Fund in the past. Applications are due by Thursday, June 1st.

Results Based Accountability (RBA) is a disciplined and data-driven way of thinking and taking action that communities can use to improve the lives of children, youth, families, adults, and the community as a whole. Participants will learn how to apply the RBA framework and RBA terminology to their work, which will support agencies as they think about how their programs, either current or aspirational, could contribute to the results that DCYF seeks to achieve.
