Every Monday through Friday from June 23 through August 15, 2008, everyone ages 18 and younger can enjoy a healthy, hot lunch for FREE at any of 107 designated locations throughout San Francisco. Children and youth must arrive at the location during specific serving times. Not all sites are open all summer. Serving times vary by location.
In accordance with Federal law and USDA policy, summer lunch locations are open to all children 18 and younger regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Meals are served on a first-come-first-serve basis. Summer lunches are provided by the USDA Summer Food Service Program with funding from the California Department of Education and the City and County of San Francisco.
