Mayor Gavin Newsom’s third annual Family Festival combines hours of fabulous entertainment on two stages, family-friendly activities throughout the garden, fifteen special fun zones—where kids produce their own science and art projects—and information from over 100 parent resources.
There's just no reason not to come to Family Festival!
• Families with children enjoy a day of free fun in the City including free carousel rides, a climbing wall, jump houses, lawn games, library bookmobile, obstacle course, and yoga.
• Four hours of entertainment on two stages feature a multi-cultural array of talented San Francisco children and youth.
• Fifteen organizations—including the Exploratorium and KQED—will help kids do hands-on projects.
• While children enjoy roving circus acts and balloon artists, parents can roam Exhibits from community-based organizations, city departments, and cultural institutions.
Family Festival is presented by the Examiner; coordinated by the Department of Children, Youth and Their Families; and part of the Yerba Buena Garden Festival.
