Program Name: Arriba Juntos: Community Response Network (CRN)
Address: 1850 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94103
Telephone: (415) 864-0881
Website: http://www.arribajuntos.org
Program Description:
The mission of the Community Response Network Collaborative is to combine efforts across agencies to establish a network of Safe Havens in the Mission District for children and youth at risk for street violence or being involved in negative street activity. The CRN is responsible for crisis response. This can range from a potential altercation in the neighborhood or at a school and can also include addressing a death in the community. The CRN also provides street outreach and works during the evening hours to bring youth into safe structured programs. The second aspect of the CRN is the bi-weekly case manager meeting. Case managers from the participating agencies meet bi-weekly to discuss/develop caseloads and to serve as support to one another. Lastly, the CRN staff support the CALLES Outreach Program. This program is a component of Mission Neighborhood Centers, Inc. and provides late night street level outreach for youth.
